Current vehicles

These are the questions buyers ask most often before ordering a used vehicle from China: how sourcing works, what the inspection evidence covers, which documents travel with the shipment, how FOB and CIF differ, and what stays the buyer's responsibility in the destination market. Each answer describes how APXAUTO actually handles the step; where a detail depends on the specific vehicle, route or import date, the answer says so instead of quoting a fixed figure.

Sourcing and ordering

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No fixed minimum is applied to sourcing. Order quantity depends on model availability and shipping arrangements, so a single unit can be ordered to evaluate a model before a larger order.

Do you source models that are not on the website?

Yes. The website lists current stock, not the limit of what can be sourced. Send the requirement and you will receive what is actually available in the market at that time, with prices attached.

How long does sourcing take?

It depends on how common the model, year and specification are in the Chinese market. A unit that is already listed can be quoted immediately; an unlisted specification needs a market search, and the time that takes varies with the model.

Can I order several models in one shipment?

Yes. Mixed-model and multi-brand orders are handled where the shipping method and schedule allow it. Whether a particular combination can be consolidated is confirmed for the specific units, because body type, dimensions and carrier acceptance affect the loading plan.

Can I start with one car?

Yes. A single car is a normal first order, either because a customer has already asked for that model or because the buyer wants to evaluate quality and paperwork before placing a larger order.

Vehicle condition and inspection

What does the condition evidence include?

Condition evidence is prepared per unit rather than per model. Depending on the vehicle it can include the VIN, an odometer photograph, exterior and interior media, paint and panel observations, disclosed defects, engine bay or power-system views, a cold start or ready-state video, and a short driving clip.

Are defects disclosed before payment?

Known defects are listed in writing and reviewed with the buyer before the order is confirmed, so the vehicle is accepted with that information in hand rather than after the vessel sails.

Can I appoint my own inspector?

Yes. Buyers who need an independent assessment can appoint their own inspector and should say so in advance so the vehicle can be made available before loading.

Is the mileage verified?

The recorded mileage is shown on camera against the unit's stock reference, and any available service or usage records are included. Anything that cannot be verified on site is reported as unavailable rather than assumed.

Export documents

Which documents come with a vehicle export?

Used-vehicle exports from China normally involve a commercial invoice, a contract or proforma invoice, a packing or loading record and a bill of lading for sea freight. A certificate of origin, export licence, inspection record or other document may be required depending on the vehicle, the route and the importing country.

Who prepares the documents?

APXAUTO prepares the export-side document set and hands it over for destination clearance. The exact set for a shipment is confirmed in writing, because requirements differ by destination and date.

Do the documents match my company as importer?

The buyer normally needs documents that match the vehicle and the importer identity. Give your importer details before the shipment file is finalised rather than after the vessel sails.

Shipping and trade terms

Do you quote FOB or CIF?

Both. FOB names a Chinese departure port: APXAUTO delivers the vehicle to that port and the buyer arranges ocean freight and insurance. CIF names a destination port and includes freight and insurance up to that port. Tell us the destination port and both terms can be quoted for comparison.

Do you ship in containers or RoRo?

Both container and RoRo arrangements are used in vehicle export. The right method depends on the number of units, the vehicle size and the carrier schedule, so it is confirmed for the specific sailing rather than assumed from an earlier order.

Who pays destination customs duty and taxes?

The buyer. Duty, tax, customs clearance, conformity and inland delivery are assessed in the destination market and sit outside both the FOB and the CIF price.

Is the price fixed once quoted?

A quotation is written for specific units and a specific sailing, and the named port and trade term are part of it. Because availability, freight space and schedules change, quotations are reconfirmed rather than held open indefinitely.

Why are prices shown as an FOB indication rather than a fixed price?

Because the price belongs to a specific vehicle. Model year, recorded mileage, trim, powertrain and whether that exact unit is still available all move the figure, so the quotation follows the unit rather than a model name.

What is not included in the price?

Ocean freight and insurance unless quoted as CIF, and destination terminal handling, customs duty, tax, conformity and inland delivery. FOB prices reflect the vehicle and origin costs only.

Can I reserve a vehicle before payment?

Availability changes constantly, so a unit is held against the agreed payment stages written into the quotation. Confirm the vehicle, model year, mileage and price on its own vehicle page before approving it.

Markets and importing rules

Can Algeria import used cars from China?

Eligibility depends on the vehicle category and the rules in force at the time of import. Algerian rules cover steering position, vehicle age thresholds, powertrain categories, technical conformity and documentation, and they can change between shipments. Confirm the current requirements with Algerian Customs or a licensed local importer before shipment; nothing here is a customs or legal opinion.

What vehicle age is accepted?

Age thresholds are applied by the importing authorities and differ by market and vehicle category. Confirm the rule in force for your category and import date rather than relying on an older import file.

Do you sell to buyers who are not dealers?
