APXAUTO supplies inspected vehicles from China for African dealers, importers, fleet buyers and automotive trading companies. Every enquiry starts from real stock: a named unit with its own model year, recorded mileage, powertrain and FOB indication rather than a catalogue image. From there we quote FOB from a Chinese port or CIF to the destination port named in your quotation, prepare the export documents for the shipment, and hand over unit-level condition evidence before the balance payment. Dealers who already know the model they want can shortlist from live inventory; buyers who are still choosing send a sourcing request with model, year, quantity and budget and receive current options with prices attached. Because import rules differ from country to country and are applied at the time of import, every quotation is written so you can confirm eligibility locally before paying a deposit.

African Import Overview

Africa is not a single import market. Age limits, steering position, conformity, duty and documentation are set nationally, and two neighbouring countries can treat the same vehicle very differently. Confirm the rules that apply to your country, your vehicle category and your import date with your own customs broker or licensed importer before you commit to a unit.

  • Steering position. Some African markets keep left and register right-hand-drive vehicles, while others register left-hand-drive vehicles. Confirm which one your market registers, then check the steering position on the specific vehicle page and offer sheet.
  • Vehicle age. Age thresholds are applied by the importing authority and change between shipments. Confirm the rule in force for your category and import date instead of relying on an older import file.
  • Fuel and powertrain. Petrol, diesel, hybrid and battery-electric vehicles are treated differently across the continent. State the powertrain you intend to register when you request the quotation.
  • Customs and duties. Duty, tax and valuation are assessed in the destination country on the declared vehicle. APXAUTO does not calculate them and does not include them in an FOB price.
  • Documentation. Documents normally have to match the vehicle and the importer identity. Ask your clearance agent for the current list before the deposit, not after the vessel sails.
  • Shipping. Both RoRo and container loading are used on African routes, and the choice affects cost, schedule and how each vehicle must be prepared.

Shipping from China

Two trade terms are used. FOB names a Chinese departure port: APXAUTO delivers the vehicle to that port and the buyer arranges ocean freight and insurance. CIF names a destination port and includes freight and insurance up to that port. Destination customs clearance, duty, taxes and inland delivery stay with the buyer under both terms. Route schedules, carrier acceptance rules and port charges change, so the sailing and the named port are confirmed in writing for each shipment.

Vehicle Inspection

Condition evidence is prepared per unit, not per model. Depending on the vehicle, the record can include the VIN, an odometer photograph, exterior and interior media, paint and panel observations, disclosed defects, engine bay or power-system views, a cold-start or ready-state video and a short driving clip. Buyers can request additional views or appoint an independent inspector before the balance payment. If a unit you are considering does not have enough evidence, ask for more media rather than assuming the condition.

  2. We confirm which matching units are in stock and send the current listing with prices.
  3. Request the condition evidence for the exact VIN or stock reference.
  4. Confirm the named port, the FOB or CIF scope, payment stages and the document list in writing.
  5. Deposit, export preparation, loading and shipment, with the documents issued for the order.
  6. Confirm destination customs, tax, conformity and registration requirements independently before arrival.

Which African countries does APXAUTO export to?

APXAUTO quotes against the destination port you name in the enquiry. Import rules are set per country, so the quotation states the named port and trade term rather than a standing list of destinations.

Are the vehicles left-hand drive or right-hand drive?

Stock includes both, and markets differ in what they register. Check the steering position on the specific vehicle page and confirm that your market accepts it before approving the unit.

Can dealers buy several vehicles at once?

Yes. Multi-unit and mixed-model orders are arranged where the shipping method and schedule allow it. Order quantity depends on model availability and the shipping arrangement.

Do you offer FOB and CIF?

Yes, and the difference is where the freight and insurance sit. FOB leaves the ocean leg to the buyer; CIF includes it to the named destination port. Destination charges are outside both.

Can I inspect the vehicle before shipment?

Each unit gets its own evidence file with the VIN, odometer photograph, exterior and interior media, paint and panel observations and disclosed defects. You can request more media or an independent inspection before the balance payment.
